A Sweet Event and Bentleyville are again hosting the Christmas Lighting Challenge contest with winners to be determined via online voting. The best part for those entered, Bentleyville is not a contestant! The lighting contest, once promoted by local media, fell from view several years ago. Heeding the community’s desire to see this event reinstated during the holiday season. A sweet Event and Bentleyville are excited to once again host the Christmas Lighting Challenge. This year the challenge has expanded to a regional event thanks to the support from the Superior, Cloquet and Two Harbors Chambers, Superior BID and Legacy Toys
Families are encouraged to head out this weekend using the full list and map of the over 80 registered lighting displays and vote for their favorites online. Prizes will be awarded for the categories of: “Best Home” and “Best Business” in each city which include Duluth, Superior, Cloquet & Two Harbors. There will also be an additional prize for “Best Home” overall, folks can also vote for their favorite “Grand Master.” “Best City” will also be a voting category, with no official prize being rewarded but bragging rights. Our main goal is to provide the community a fun resource of lighting displays for the community to tour.

- Award ceremony will be at Bentleyville December 22, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with winners and event officials and sponsors. Exact location in Bentleyville to be announced the 21st
