Shop Small Superior Week
The Superior Business Improvement District and Superior-Douglas County Area Chamber of Commerce are teamed up again to promote Small Business with Shop Small Superior Week – beginning on Small Business Saturday, November 25 and running through December 2.
Check out the great offers from our local small businesses all week long. You’re sure to find unique gifts for everyone on your shopping list, plus have some fun in the process.
NEW FOR 2023 – Shop Hop Punch Cards! Punch cards will be available for customers to pick up and receive punches when they visit participating SBID businesses listed on the card. When you receive at least 5 punches, turn in your card to be entered into a drawing to win $50, $75 or $100 in BID Bucks. Cards will be available at all participating businesses during Shop Small Week, but may be picked up early on Nov. 17 at Angie’s Closet or Kindred Stone as part of their Pink Friday shopping events.

The SBID celebrated the changing seasons with Fall, Flannel & FUN! The SBID offered a special weekend promotion to start the fall season in style with 3 special days of fun October 6-8 featuring Flannel Friday, Plaidurday Saturday and Spicy Sunday.
Flannel Friday kicked off with the start of our annual Pizza Wars competition and shifted to all the fall fun that is available in the SBID. District businesses have everything you need to jumpstart your Fall with seasonal merchandise, specials and more! Think cozy fall fashions, cute and spooky decor, seasonal services, all the warm and tasty pumpkin spice treats, etc.

PIZZA WARS!
Congratulations to Thirsty Pagan Brewing (Traditional Category) and Superior Waffles (Non-Traditional Category), on being named the champions of the 2023 Pizza Wars. Congratulations to our winners and all who participated!
In celebration of National Pizza Month, the Pizza Wars are an opportunity for SBID businesses to compete to decide who has the most “SUPERIOR” pizza in the District.
Trick or Treat in the District
SBID businesses will again be offering up plenty of treats for the kids and excellent shopping for the adult’s at this year’s Trick or Treat in the District. This year’s event will be held on HALLOWEEN, October 31st from 1-4 pm. Look for the Trick-or-Treat Stop sign throughout the SBID.
New this year: For added fun and safety, we’ll be closing a portion of Tower Avenue (14th through Broadway). This will allow trick-or-treaters a safe way to cross between businesses as well as more opportunities for businesses to get outside with special activities, sidewalk sales, street vending etc.
