Surprise Santa!
You’re always a winner when you shop at Santa’s Favorite Places in the Superior BID! December 1-23, Santa made SURPRISE stops at participating businesses. During each stop, one lucky shopper received a prize of $25 in BID Bucks from the jolly ol’ elf. BID Bucks are as good as cash to spend at your favorite participating SBID Businesses.

LAKE SUPERIOR ICE FESTIVAL
The Lake Superior Ice Festival was held the weekend of January 26-28. In addition to the fun activities held at Barker’s Island, SBID businesses offered special deals to festival attendees. The SBID also provided a free Trolley to the festival with stops on Tower Avenue near VIP and also in the Belknap Plaza.
TRICK OR TREAT IN THE DISTRICT!
SBID businesses offered fun and safe trick-or-treating in the District. Participating businesses had plenty of treats for the kids – and. Due to school being out, the event was held on Monday, October 29th. A great way for the kiddos to have an extra day of Halloween fun!

Thirsty Pagan Brewing Co.! Congratulations to Thirsty Pagan on being voted the 2018 SBID Pizza War Champion!
The SBID Pizza Wars is a friendly competition among restaurants in the SBID to vie for who makes the “most Superior Pizza.” Three restaurants participated in the 2018 contest by entering in special pizzas for customers to try and vote for their favorite during the month of August.
