MnDOT, WisDOT to host Blatnik Bridge public update meeting
DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota and Wisconsin Departments of Transportation host a public update
meeting for the Blatnik Bridge project on Monday, Oct. 20, at 5 p.m. in the Superior (Wis.) Public
Library, 1530 Tower Ave, Superior, WI 54880. There will be a presentation and time for questions
about the project.
The presentation will include key accomplishments over the last year such as preliminary engineering,
permitting, environmental document updates and development of contract documents for bidders. The
team will also provide information on traffic mitigation, main span lighting on the new bridge and an
estimated construction schedule.
