New Construction or Addition Grants:
This grant program is available to any commercial property owner within the Superior Business Improvement District or to their tenants with the property owner’s authorization. This program is funded with Community Development Block Grant Funds. This is an $8,000 matching grant.

Architectural/Design Assistance Matching Grant:
This grant program is available to any commercial property owner within the Superior Business Improvement District or to their tenants with the property owner’s authorization. This grant provides funding for architectural rendering for BID Grant Projects. (This is a requirement for the Commercial Building Restoration Grant, New Construction Grant and on projects where assistance with color selection is needed.) This is a program that is funded through the BID Operating Budget. This is a matching grant for up to $2,000.00.

Sign Matching Grant:
This grant program is available to any commercial property owner within the Superior Business Improvement District or to their tenants with the property owner’s authorization. This program is funded through the BID Operating Budget. This grant will match up to $1,000.00 for signage. If there is individual tenant signs, each tenant can apply for the grant with authorization from the property owner.

Landscaping Grant:
This grant program is available to any commercial property owner within the Superior Business Improvement District or to their tenants with the property owner’s authorization. This program is funded through the BID Operating Budget. This grant will match up to $2,000.00 for landscaping.

BID Reinvestment Loan Program:   Flyer
Four local financial institutions, M & I Bank, National Bank of Commerce, Community Bank and Superior Savings Bank, have provided a loan program for commercial property owners within the BID. The loan is for up to $50,000.00 with very favorable interest rates.
