The North Tower Avenue Streetscape Sub-Committee of the BID is
charged with the streetscape design for the North Tower Avenue.
The Committee has met twice and is at the beginning stages of
creating two concepts for the Community to view and give comment.
The Committee is working with SAS+ Associates and Cardus
Consulting on the project. Amenities being discussed are
pedestrian level lighting, green space, seating, sidewalk design
and signs.

FYI: The consultant
RMT, Inc. is scheduled to be on Tower Avenue to do Hazardous
Materials Investigation next week, August 31 thru September 4th.
Similar to the geotechnical drilling, there will be a drilling
rig as well other equipment to do test pits in select locations to
help better define soils/materials and contamination ranges.
There will be some minimal traffic inconvenience with traffic
control. |
