Park Garden Design Contest
Who may Enter
Interested organizations
and individuals are invited to submit a garden design plan for the
large annual bed located just northwest of the Superior Public
Library at Center City Park, 1501 Tower Avenue. In partnership
with the Business Improvement District (BID), the Superior Parks &
Recreation Division has recruited a panel of experts to judge the
competition.
How to Enter
Download the materials at

www.superiorbid.com or pick up a packet at the Parks &
Recreation Division (1316 N 14th Street)
Complete your garden design on the sketch provided using a color
code and a list (key) of annual plants (up to $1500 value)
Return it to the Parks &
Recreation Division (1316 N 16th St) or the Superior
BID Office (1401 Tower Avenue) or email your design to
parks@ci.superior.wi.us or
rochonj@superiorbid.com by Wednesday, January 6th
by 4:30 P.M.
What the Judges will be Looking for
The criteria will include
originality of the garden design, balance and scale of the garden
to the setting, choice of plant materials (annuals ONLY please)
for an urban setting and ease of maintenance.

How will the Winner be Honored?
The winning designers will
receive $500 in BID Bucks
